A combiner optical system capable of ensuring high performance and high versatility while having vision corrective function; and an information display unit including the combiner optical system. The combiner optical system comprises a first refraction lens disposed so as to cross an optical axis of observant eye on an external light incidence side of substrate, the first refraction lens on its external side having a convex surface, and a second refraction lens disposed so as to cross the optical axis on an external light emission side of substrate, the second refraction lens on its eye position side having a concave surface.
