PURPOSE: Provided is a hand cleanser containing polystyrene sulfate, which is excellent in sterilizing ability and antimicrobial ability and is safe for the skin though used for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The hand cleanser comprises 60-80wt% of ethanol, 1.3-3.0wt% of isopropyl alcohol, 0.2-0.6wt% of carbomer, 16-35wt% of distilled water, 0.03-0.05wt% of the polystyrene sulfate, and additionally a curing accelerator selected from diisopropanol amine, aminomethyl propanol, aminomethyl propanediol, triethanol amine and a skin hydrating agent selected from isopropyl mirystate, propylene glycol, glycerine, a silicon derivative, aloevera, and sorbitol.
