PURPOSE: A method and a system for spinal fixation are provided to allow for ease of spinal fixation while increasing the strength of the spinal fixation rod. CONSTITUTION: A rod fixing finger portion(210) arranged in the lower end of a rod connector(200) accommodates a spinal fixation rod(520) which interconnects rod fixing portions. A reinforcement rod(300) is inserted into a reinforcement rod insertion hole(220) of the rod connector which is coupled with the spinal fixation rod. A reinforcement rod fixation screw(230) which is screw-coupled to the upper portion of the rod connector is rotated by a wrench so as to fix the reinforcement rod inserted in the reinforcement rod insertion hole. The rod fixing finger portion is tightened by the pressure applied to the reinforcement rod, to thereby fix the rod connector to the circumferential surface of the spinal fixation rod.
