摘要 PURPOSE: A TFT LCD device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to form a lot of storage capacitors in a simple process for preventing the increase of cost and reduce the size of each pixel by increasing the storage capacitors, thereby obtaining high quality display. CONSTITUTION: A TFT LCD device includes first to third black matrixes(10,12,13) formed on a substrate. The first black matrix is formed by depositing and patterning a first conductive opaque layer on a transparent substrate. A first insulating film(11) is deposited on the first black matrix. The second and third black matrixes are formed with a predetermined distance on the first insulating film by depositing and pattering a second conductive opaque layer. A second insulating film(14) is deposited on the second and third black matrixes. The first to third black matrixes and the first insulating film serve as first and second storage capacitors, wherein the first insulating film has a preferable thickness of 1000-1500Å considering the storage capacitance of the respective storage capacitors. The plurality of storage capacitors are formed in parallel to keep electric charges to increase the storage capacitance of each pixel having a small size.
