PURPOSE: A method for confirming the reception of a message is provided to make a receiver's terminal transmit message-confirmed information to a sender through a base station if the receiver confirms a message or an image that the sender transmits so as to confirm whether the receiver has received the message or the image. CONSTITUTION: If a sender selects an image or makes out a message(S201), the sender's terminal judges whether the sender selects a reception confirmation service(S202). If the reception confirmation service is selected, the sender's terminal transmits the image or message to a service center. The service center stores the sender's phone number and transmits the image or message to a receiver(S203). The receiver's terminal judges whether the receiver confirms the image or message(S205). If the receiver has confirmed the image or message, the receiver's terminal automatically transmits a reception-confirmed signal to the service center(S206). The service center transmits the reception-confirmed signal to the sender's terminal according to the stored phone number(S207). |
