PURPOSE: A method and a device for carrying out the EC(Electric Commerce) on a dedicated terminal having a VOIP(Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone are provided to carry out the EC while maintaining security with a service provider terminal having the VOIP phone via a certification server. CONSTITUTION: The dedicated terminal(1) is connected to the LAN(Local Area Network) and the PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) through a LAN port or a PSTN port. A user of the dedicated terminal carries out the EC through the LAN as well as uses the voce telephone through the PSTN by using the VOIP telephone of the dedicated terminal. The certification server(3) makes the dedicated terminal and the service provider terminal(5) carry out the EC while maintaining the security. The certification server stores the user signal data information, the certification card information, and the purchase and settlement data needed to carry out the EC. The user terminal carries out the EC with the dedicated terminal via the certification server. |
