PURPOSE: A thermocouple attaching apparatus is provided to reduce a measuring error of a thermocouple by simply and easily attaching the thermocouple regardless of sizes of holes, into which the thermocouple is assembled. CONSTITUTION: A thermocouple metal(14) is accommodated in a thermocouple holder(12), thereby forming a thermocouple section(16). A thermocouple wire(18) connected to the thermocouple metal(14) is protected by a wire protecting mesh(20). The thermocouple holder(12) has a cylindrical shape and is formed with perforation holes, into which a receiving member(22) is inserted. Plural inclined slots(12a) are formed lengthwise the thermocouple holder(12). One end of an elastic member(26) is inserted into one of the inclined slots(12a). The other end of the elastic member(26) is hinged to an end of the thermocouple holder(12).
