摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically compensating a memory clock is provided to automatically recognize the failure of set-up/hold time by comparing the output signal of a latch with an inner clock. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically compensating a memory clock includes a clock generation unit(140), a latch(120), a kill pulse generation unit(150), a detector(160) and a clock controller(170). The clock generation unit(140) generates an inner clock. The latch(120) latches the external data signal and the inner clock as the output of the clock generation unit(140) and transmits the latched signals to the inner circuit of the DRAM. The kill pulse generation unit(150) senses the output signal of the latch(120) and the failure of the set-up/hold time of the inner clock and transmits the set-up/hold kill pulse. The detector(160) transmits the control signal by using the external data signal as the output of the data buffer, the inner clock as the output of the clock generation unit(140) and the set-up/hold kill pulse signal of the kill pulse generation unit(150). And, the clock controller(170) controls the inner clock of the clock generation unit(140) by the control signal as the output of the detector(160).
