PURPOSE: A simple plant growing apparatus having a controlling unit of the water level and the concentration of water/culture liquid is provided. It can supply a sufficient amount of oxygen and balanced culture media according to the growth degree of plants and prevent rotting of roots. Therefore, a user cultivates plants and vegetables easily at home. CONSTITUTION: A plant growing apparatus comprises: an upper planting plate(12) having a pot(10) for planting plants and a water/culture liquid supplying device(11); a center medium culture vessel(15) disposed at the lower part of the planting plate to receive a specified amount of a culture medium(13) to take root; a flow amount control vessel(19) having a water level control device(17) and an air vent hole(18); a spent water-collecting vessel(21) having a discharge hole(20) to collect a specified amount of spent water; and a water pump(24) and a culture liquid pump(25) having a water/culture liquid pipe(22) and a mixer(23) to supply water and culture liquid. |
