PURPOSE: A food waste disposal device is provided to reduce the quantity of food waste by dewatering food waste completely and to utilize as compost for a flowerpot and a garden, and to use under a pleasant condition by removing order caused by drying up food waste. CONSTITUTION: The food waste disposal device comprises an outer case installed to a sink, a food waste disposer installed in the outer case to be slidable, and a control unit installed on the upper part of the outer case to select the operating conditions of the food waste disposer. The food waste disposer comprises a main body(101) installed in the outer case to be slidable, a top cover(120) covering up the top of the main body(101) and containing an opening(121) opened and closed by a cover member(110), a food waste input member(130) installed on the lower part of the top cover(120) to put and guide food waste, a crusher(140) installed on the lower part of the food waste input member(130) to crush the food waste, a middle plate installed on the lower part of the crusher(140) to partition the inside of the main body(101) and provided with primary, secondary food waste passage holes, a food waste storage tub installed on the lower part of the middle plate to house the food wastes penetrated the primary, secondary food waste passage holes, and a drying/deodorizing unit(170) installed on the inner side of the main body(101) to dry up the food waste stored in the food waste storage tub(160) and to remove odor.
