PURPOSE: A wing-in-ground effect ship is provided to improve seaworthiness and lateral restoring force by reducing resistance with injecting air in end plates during cruising, and to enhance stability by reducing yawing with forming the flat end plate during flying. CONSTITUTION: A wing-in-ground effect ship is composed of a main hull(1), a main wing(2), an aileron(6), an outer wing(7), a horizontal tail(8) and a vertical rudder. Expanding end plates(3) are installed downward at both sides of the main wing, and the flexible tube type end plates are made of fiber and rubber. An intermediate plate is formed in the end plate, and the end plate is connected to a blower for expanding the end plate. A water rudder part is installed under the stern of the hull, and is composed of water rudders, a rudder adjusting cylinder and a water rudder container. Stability is improved by reducing resistance with expanding end plates in cruising, and by reducing rolling with flattening the end plates during flying.
