PURPOSE: A bar code label printer is provided to increase the durability of the label by displaying character-corresponding data to a metal or synthetic resin material by punching 1-D or 2-D bar code figures. CONSTITUTION: A bar code label printer includes a punch head part(101) having at least one or more punches heads for carrying out vertical hammering of the punch heads, a punch head moving part(102) for moving the punch head part along a flat surface, a punching position control part(103) for controlling the punch head moving part to set punching positions, a main control part(104) for transmitting the data for the punching positions and incorporating a program for the entire control of the printer, a bar code conversion part(105) for converting predetermined characters to 1-D or 2-D bar code shapes to be transmitted to the main control part, a bar code character input part(106) for inputting the characters to be converted into the bar code, and a display part(107) for recognizing the character input and the bar code conversion.
