PURPOSE: Provided is a wood powder building material for hypocaust, which adds a warmth on cold winter, and absorbs a wet air and refreshes an surroundings on hot summer, and which has a dampproofing effect. CONSTITUTION: The building material comprises a hexahedron-type bottom plate(20) in which communicating hole(22) is formed at the center of the top thereof, and connection groove(24) is formed outward from the inside of the communicating hole(22); and a top plate(30) having communicating hole(32) and connection groove(34) corresponding to the hole(22) and the groove(24) at the bottom thereof, to which the bottom plate and the top plate are correspondingly adhered so that pipe(P) having line and semi-circular form is formed along the connection grooves(24,34), and the bottom plate(20) and the top plate(30) are obtained by finely grounding 20-30 wt% of ginkgo, 50-70 wt% of the silver magnolia, and 10-20 wt% of at least one of aromatic herbs, diluting 1-10 parts by weight of wood juice with boiled water(based on 100 parts by weight of the grounded product) so as to have a concentration of 10-30%, mixing the grounded product with the diluted wood juice at 50-70 deg.C, and pressing the mixture with a pressure of 25-35 ton.
