PURPOSE: A method for reducing engine shock is provided to prevent an engine from suddenly stopping by gradually reducing fuel injection amount at key off of diesel car. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing engine shock at key off of a diesel car comprises the steps of: detecting the state of a key and the variation of engine rpm(S100); determining whether the key is off(S110); and gradually reducing fuel injection amount for a predetermined time if the key is off(S130).
