The invention relates to an installation for autoatically removing the metallic bodies from the coal mass on the belt carriers. According to the invention, the installation comprises a main belt (1) whereon there is located an electromagnetic separator (2) actuated by a metal detector (3), and at the actuation end (4) there is a flapper valve separator (5) actuated by a metal detector (3') which, when encountering a metallic body, opens the flapper valve and the coal mass containing the metallic body is directed towards a hopper (7) through a piping (6) on a secondary belt (8) provided with a flapper valve (9) actuated by a pneumatic cylinder (10) controlled by a second metal detector (3"). When a metallic body is detected, the flapper valve (9) is opened for 2...4 s and overflows the coal mass containing the metallic body through a piping (11), then the flapper valve returns, the cleaned coal passing onto the main belt (1) through another piping (12).
