TOOL ROTATING DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER WITH FIXED ADDRESSING METHOD

PURPOSE: A tool rotating device of an automatic tool changer with a fixed addressing method is provided to perform motions for drawing out, rotating, and mounting a tool installed to a tool magazine into one motion. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tool changer of a fixed addressing method is composed of a tool magazine(20) for separatively mounting a plurality of tools(30) by grippers; a tool change arm(50) for mounting the tools of the tool magazine to a spindle(40); and a tool rotating device(100) disposed between the tool magazine and the change arm to separate and rotate the tools mounted to the tool magazine and transfer the tools to the change arm. The tool rotating device of the automatic tool changer comprises a gripper unit(110) for fixing and separating the tool mounted to the tool magazine or the change arm; a plate unit(120) for rotatively supporting the gripper unit and guiding a moving path; and a hydraulic cylinder(130) for rotating the gripper unit combined to the plate unit. The gripper unit and the hydraulic cylinder are connected by a rotary link and a rotary shaft for converting rectilinear motions of the hydraulic cylinder into rotary motions thereof.
