<p>The invention relates to an installation for external non-corrodible insulation of metal pipes, said installation comprising a carriage (1) movable along the pipe (a), a torch battery (8) for heating the pipe (a), a polyethylene powder sprayer (9), a malleableizing torch (10) and a rotary frame-type table (4) for applying the insulating strip. The carriage rests on the pipe (a) by means of some rollers (2 and 2') and has a driving gearmotor (3). The torch battery (8), the torch (10) and sprayer (9) are fastened to the carriage (1) and have a circular shape around the pipe (a) being provided with burning nozzles and equally spaced spraying orifices, and the table (4) having two supports (11 and 12) for the polyethylene and polypropylene reels, the table (4) being rotated by a gearmotor (6).</p> |
