FIELD: forestry, horticulture and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying heat carrier other than water to seeds; regulating treatment time and temperature with regard to seed state and moisture content. Seeds are heated from outside to inside without evaporation of moisture from seed surface. As a result, seeds are prevented from cooling and seed moisture content is not changed.
