FIELD: alloys based on magnesium; particularly, composition of magnesium alloys and methods of production of these alloys which are widely used in automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: alloy based on magnesium is contrived which contains aluminum, zinc, manganese and calcium; in so doing the relationship among components is as follows, fraction of total mass, %: aluminum - 2.0-3.0; zinc - 7.0-11.0; manganese - 0.62- 1.0; calcium - 0.2-1.7, magnesium - the balance. Technical result is production of alloy with mechanical properties being good for pressure casting, and with low creeping coefficient, that, in particular, improves high-temperature strength.
