FIELD: foam production. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method and device for production of foam. The method of production of foam includes: preparation of a foaming agent solution, submission of the solution and submission of an airflow, commixing in a twisted stream of the solution with the airflow, stabilization of the mix of the solution with the air, separation of foam. Submission of then airflow is conducted by parts: 0.3 0.5 of the airflows is admixed with a solution of the foaming agent, 0.5 0.7 of the airflow is fed to the mix after 0.5-0.6 of time duration of its stabilization. At that the airflows of the solution and the foaming agent before their commixing are twisted. The device for the foam production has the systems of pipelines for of submission of an airflow, water and foaming agent solution, a mixing chamber and a swirler. The mixing chamber is combined with the stabilizer, the pipeline of the air supply is executed bifurcated, one end of which is connected to the mixing chamber, and the second end - to the stabilizer at the point spaced by 1/3-1/2 from its beginning. At that the pipelines of water and foaming agent feeding are provided with pumps with controlled drives, and the swirlers are installed at the end of pipelines of the air and the foaming agent solution supply.
