LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to relieve gray scale inversion of a liquid crystal display while improving a viewing angle of the liquid crystal display by forming a porous film on a liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel(510) is formed of a first substrate(512) where a plurality of pixels are formed, a second substrate(514) facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The liquid crystal display panel receives first light for letting out second light including image information. A porous film(560) is arranged on the liquid crystal display panel with a plurality of uniform holes. The porous film reflects a part of the second light for letting out third light having compensated brightness distribution while letting out the rest of the second light.
