<p>The present invention relates to the field of reducing or eliminating unpleasant odor and/or delivering pleasant odor upon edging and/or surfacing lenses, and more particularly ophthalmic lenses, by coating said lenses on their peripheral edges with a fragrance containing a temporary coating. In another aspect the present invention relates to perfume delivering lenses, said lenses are coated on their peripheral edges with a fragrance containing a permanent coating that delivers a slight perfume pleasant for the wearer of eyeglasses.</p> |
