A gearwheel pair (1) consists of two gearwheels (2,3) which are mounted on a common rotational axis to rotate in relation to each other and which are commonly in engagement with the mating gearwheel. Each of the two gearwheels have in the adjacent side faces one or more cut-outs (6,6x;7,7x) and in which is installed a common spring element (8,8x) through which the gearwheels are pretensioned in relation to one another while maintaining the designed external geometric dimensions.
