<p>PURPOSE: A heating and cooling system of an air conditioner is provided to reduce noise generated during expansion of refrigerant by allowing uniform refrigerant to be introduced into an expansion unit using a sound attenuator. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing unit(30) comprises at least one body(31) installed on a refrigerant tube connected with an expansion unit installed in an indoor unit, and forming a refrigerant channel to allow refrigerant to flow in and out from an indoor heat exchanger; a screen(32) installed in an inner space of the body, filtering off foreign matters mixed with refrigerant, and having a mesh formed thereon to allow refrigerant of two phases to pass and to be uniformed; and a space partitioning member(33) partitioning the inner space of the body perpendicularly to flowing direction of refrigerant, and having refrigerant flowing holes(33a) formed thereon to allow refrigerant to pass. The noise reducing unit comprises a first noise reducing unit installed between an outdoor heat exchanger and the expansion unit; and a second noise reducing unit installed between the expansion unit and the indoor heat exchanger.</p> |
