PURPOSE: A sanitary napkin or diaper having a drying unit is provided to dry the blood or urine by forming a heat generating layer or a moisture adsorbing layer. CONSTITUTION: The sanitary napkin or diaper having the drying unit comprises an adsorbing layer(30-1,30-2) or a separate drying layer(50). The adsorbing layer(30-1,30-2) or the separate drying layer(50) is formed by adsorbing the material for generating the heat or drying the moisture on the layer surface of the sanitary napkin or diaper. The material for generating the heat or drying the moisture includes the lime such as caustic lime or slaked lime and so on.
