Disclosed is a hot-water heater using solar energy as a heat source among substitutes of limited natural resources such as coal, petroleum and so on. The double-tank and forced circulation type solar hot-water heater has a double-tank structure having inner and outer tanks in which a heat storage tank and a heat exchanger are integrally configured. In a space between the inner and outer tanks, a spiral flow guide is prepared in to improve heat exchange efficiency by means of a whole heat transfer area. This solar hot-water heater does not need to install a heat exchanger and an expansion tank separately out of the heat storage tank like a conventional solar heat exchange system. Thus, the double-tank and forced circulation type solar hot-water heater requires a reduced installation cost and a reduced installation space, and may be easily installed in a narrow space such as a veranda, so it may be usefully utilized as a hot-water heating system.
