Equipment checkes closure of packets, esp. cigarettes, by adhesive locking or adhesive excise labels and removes faulty packets. The equipment consists of transport and feeler equipment and an electromagnetically activated discharging equipment for the faulty packets. At the side of a transport channel for the packets a wedge-shaped rail is positioned in front, and at the side of the feeler equipment. The rail is provided with a slot in which is a feeler projects in its resting position. The discharging equipment for the faulty packets consists of a continuously rotating wheel carrying a pivotable discharger held in resting position by a spring. The discharger is fitted with a releasing arm which moves along a movement track of a releasing rod activated by an electromagnet. |
