Method for detecting and determining the concentration of enzyme inhibitors (I) and/or their inactive precursors using a physical transducer. At least one enzyme, or corresponding inhibitor derivative, is fixed to the transducer surface as target and the concentration of (I) is quantified from the proportion of non-inhibited target enzyme. An independent claim is also included for a device for the method, comprising a physical transducer on which at least one target substance (especially enzyme, its genetically modified variant or inhibitor derivative) is immobilized, optionally also a substance for activation of inhibitor precursors.
