The powershift transmission with central synchronizing comprises two input shafts (23,24), a countershaft (21) and an auxiliary shaft (50). One gearwheel (4x1) meshes with a gearwheel (4.1) of one input shaft and by a selector element (36c) can be connected to the auxiliary shaft with torsional fixing. Another gearwheel (3x2) meshes with a gearwheel (32) of the next lower speed and by a selector element with a synchronizing unit (36b) can be connected to the auxiliary shaft with torsional fixing. Another gearwheel (3x1) meshes with a gearwheel (3.1) of the next higher speed and by a selector element with a synchronizing unit (36a) can be connected to the auxiliary shaft and torsionally fixed.
