PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling liquid crystal diffusion and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to reduce an area where liquid crystal is not injected, and speed up diffusion of the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) is loaded on a stage(700) of a liquid crystal dispensing equipment(500) and a liquid crystal syringe(800) is arranged over the substrate so that the liquid crystal syringe drops liquid crystal on the substrate. The stage includes a variable temperature control element(700a) controlling diffusion power of liquid crystal. The variable temperature control element is formed of a thermal line heated by electric connection, and controls surface temperature of the stage. The liquid crystal is dropped on the substrate in a drop shape. At this time, the variable temperature control element is controlled to minimize distances between the neighboring liquid crystal drops.
