<p>A method for preparing a resin particle of a great surface area having a shape factor (SF-1) of 110 to 800, which comprises a step of applying a shearing force to an aqueous dispersion having 300 to 100,000 mPa·s formed by adding a thickener to a raw aqueous dispersion containing resin particles to increase the viscosity thereof, and a subsequent step of decreasing the viscosity of the resulting aqueous dispersion to 200 mPa·s or less, optionally through the addition of a viscosity reducing agent. Resin particles prepared by the method can be suitably used as an additive for a paint, an additive for a coating material, a powder coating material, an additive for a cosmetic, a resin for slush molding, a spacer for manufacturing electronic parts, standard particles for a electronically measuring instrument, a toner for electrophotography, a toner for electrostatic recording, a toner for elctrostatic printing and a hot melt adhesive.</p> |
