PURPOSE: A cylinder liner and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to allow the cylinder liner to be easily escaped from the bore pin by permitting the cylinder liner and the bore pin to have chamfer angles. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder liner has an inner surface which is provided with a chamfer angle in such a manner that the upper portion of the inner surface becomes narrow and the lower portion of the inner surface becomes wide. The cylinder liner has a total length of 166.8mm, a top end inner diameter of 91.81mm, and a bottom end inner diameter of 91.92mm, and the cylinder liner and a bore pin has chamfer angles of 0.15 to 0.5 degrees.
