The invention relates to a method for producing a fibrous web, especially a web of paper or carton. According to the inventive method, the fibers are charged with a precipitation product, thereby producing crystalline precipitation product particles, supplying the fibers so treated in the form of a pumpable fiber suspension to a sheet forming process and controlling and/or regulating during said sheet forming process the filler distribution resulting across the web cross-section via a corresponding impingement with a vacuum.
