A merchandise sample storing container adapted to reliably protect various merchandise samples including food, cosmetics and medicines and to make the entire sample relatively thin, the container being suitable for a merchandise sample in the form of a card for attaching or packaging a small amount of merchandise sample. For this purpose, the container is characterized by comprising a single sample storing film formed with a sample storing section storing a merchandise sample, and a reinforcing member storing section storing a reinforcing member formed to surround the sample storing section, a sample stored in the sample storing section, a reinforcing member stored in the reinforcing member storing section, and a film performing the role of a cover, wherein the film serving as a cover is bonded to the sample storing film in a sealed state with the sample and reinforcing member stored.
