LINEAR ACTUATOR, AND PUMP AND COMPRESSOR DEVICES USING THE ACTUATOR

A linear actuator (1) has inner yokes (3), outer yokes(4) forming gaps (9A, 9B) between themselves and the inner yokes(3), and a movable body (5) provided with planar magnets in the gaps (9A, 9B). Eight pieces each of the inner yokes (3) and the outer yokes (4) are arranged at equal angular intervals in a circumferential direction with planar faces of each of the inner yokes and of the outer yokes being opposed to each other. The movable body (5) has magnet retaining portions (52) having a substantially triangular shape and placed between adjacent inner yokes (3) and between adjacent outer yokes (4). A linear actuator having high magnetism usability can be structured using magnetic parts suitable for mass production.
