PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of cylinder liner material for automobile engine block is provided to improve frictional characteristics and wear resistance compared to a conventional cast iron or hyper-eutectic aluminum alloy liner and to improve performance and gasoline mileage of automobile engine resultingly. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of melting hyper-eutectic aluminum alloy comprising 15 to 30 wt.% of Si, 1.0 to 4.5 wt.% of Cu, 0.5 to 1.5 wt.% of Mg, 0.3 wt.% or less of Mn, 0.3 wt.% or less of Fe and a balance of Al; agitating the heated Ni coated graphite and the hyper-eutectic aluminum alloy at an agitation speed of 500 to 1,500 rpm by adding heated Ni coated graphite to the hyper-eutectic aluminum alloy after heating Ni coated graphite to a temperature of 200 to 500 deg.C; manufacturing a billet by spray forming; and forming the billet into a pipe shaped material through extrusion, wherein particle size of the Ni coated graphite is 5 to 30 micrometers, density of the Ni coated graphite is 2.0 to 3.5 g/cm¬3, and 5 to 20 wt.% of the Ni coated graphite for the total weight of aluminum alloy is added to the hyper-eutectic aluminum alloy.
