<p>A PWM inverter control method capable of reducing the noise and energy consumption by reducing the noise and limiting the number of switching operations. In a 2-level PWM inverter control method, switching of a switching element connected in series is performed as follows. When the inverter operation frequency is low, the number of switching operations and timing are set so that noise frequency components are not concentrated by the switching and an arbitrary voltage is output. Here, a lower limit is set for the number of switching operations so that the number of switching operations is not too small. On the other hand, when the inverter operation frequency is increased, the number of switching operations and timing setting value are increased at a predetermined ratio together with the operation frequency. Here, an upper limit is set for the number of switching operations so that the number of switching operations will not exceed the set value.</p> |
