PURPOSE: A method of producing functional salt by heating sea salt in a furnace to remove impurities, heavy metals or the like and then mixing with an extract of 100 kinds of herbal plants is provided. Therefore, the product is rich in minerals, vitamins or the like and boosts one's appetite. CONSTITUTION: About 60% by weight of pine needles, 20% by weight of wormwood and 20% by weight of various herbal plants are preserved with black sugar in a ratio of 1:1 for 1 year or more and then extracted. Thereafter, 85 to 90% by weight of salt is impregnated with 10 to 15% by weight of the herbal extract, dried at 40deg.C and ground into 50 to 60 meshes after cooling. The salt is prepared by passing sea salt through a tunnel furnace at 300 to 600deg.C, heating directly in a calcining furnace at 800deg.C for 60min and then cooling in a cooling furnace at 50deg.C or less for 20min. |
