METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BALL JOINT FOR AUTOMOBILE USING HIGH FREQUENCY

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing ball joint for automobile using high frequency is provided to shorten accompanying working process generated by aging chamber heat treatment by performing electric high frequency instead of conventional aging chamber heat treatment and maximize production efficiency by reducing working time and space. CONSTITUTION: In an ordinary manufacturing method of automobile ball joint comprising ball seat inserting process (S1) of inserting ball seat into ball inserting part inside socket; ball stud indenting process (S2) of calking ball stud into grease filled ball seat and sealing protrusion of socket generated during calking; heat treatment process (S3) of inserting the ball joint into aging chamber so that ball and ball seat are expanded; cooling process (S4) of naturally cooling the ball and ball seat; and cover mounting process (S5) of mounting a dust cover on an upper side of socket, the method for manufacturing ball joint for automobile using high frequency is characterized in that the heat treatment process (S3) is performed by emitting high frequency to an upper part of screw part of the ball stud using a high frequency heat treating machine for generating instantaneous convection current.
