<p>Pallets made from synthetic material... Consist of a load bearing surface in the form of a grille reinforced with flat areas made in the same operation as that for the grille. They have a lower surface joined to the upper surface in such a way as to leave clear spaces between the surfaces for the insertion of loading forks. They are reinforced by ribs which present no impediment to the forks when inserted. The holes in the walls of the structure for admission of the loading, forks are preferably provided with interior surfaces which form a tapering aperture to guide the forks, but still allow sufficient room so as not to impede the forks. The upper and lower sections are each moulded in one operation and then welded together. This provides a more durable, stable and cheaper pallet than by other means. Pref. the load bearing face and the lower face are (injection) moulded in a single operation and welded together.</p> |
