The device (1) for the withdrawal of the lowermost blank (7) for the manufacture of packing for stick-form articles in the tobacco industry has a magazine (4) which has at least one intermediate accumulator (14) for the blanks. At least one holder element (3) is installed between the magazine and the intermediate accumulator. The intermediate accumulator has at least one holding element in the form of a support rail (5,6) which preferably has a bearing surface formed at right angles to the feed direction of the blanks. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a machine for the packing of stick-form articles in the tobacco industry, equipped with the proposed device; and (b) a procedure for the withdrawal of the lowermost blank for the manufacture of packing for stick-form articles in the tobacco industry.
