PURPOSE: A load limiter for a seat belt is provided to prevent the injury of a passenger by keeping the drawing speed of a buckle assembly gentle in a vehicle crash. CONSTITUTION: A load limiter housing(11) is installed on a floor, and has a female locking member(10). A buckle assembly(14) is coupled to the load limiter housing, and has a protrusion(12) caught in the top of the load limiter housing and a male locking member(13) coupled to the female locking member. A compression member(15) is mounted in the load limiter housing, and keeps the drawing speed of the buckle assembly gentle.
