PURPOSE: A powder alloy composition for spray coating is provided to improve wear resistance and corrosion resistance of cylinder block by mixing a matrix with rigid particles so that frictional and abrasion characteristics are given to the powder alloy composition, and a method for manufacturing cylinder block using the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The powder alloy composition for spray coating is characterized in that it is prepared by mixing a matrix prepared by mixing pure iron having a powder particle size of 44 to 105 micrometers with stainless steel in a mixing ratio of 5:5 with rigid particles prepared by mixing Al2O3 with ZrO2 in a mixing ratio of 5:5 to 7:3 in a mixing ratio of 7:3 to 8:2.
