<p>It is intended to provide translation templates, whereby proteins can be efficiently synthesized, as a tool usable in high-throughput post-genomic studies for analyzing structures and functions. A translation template is composed of a coding part optionally together with a PEG part. In case of having an acceptor region at the 3’-end of the coding part and a translational enhancement sequence containing the sequence SNNS in the 5’-upstream of the acceptor region, such a PEG part which cannot be bonded to a protein via a transpeptidation reaction is advantageously usable in protein synthesis. In case of having an acceptor region at the 3’-end of the coding part, such a PEG part which can be bonded to a protein via a transpeptidation reaction is advantageously usable in assignment. It is further intended to provide proteins synthesized by using these translational templates, C-end modified proteins and assigned molecules. It is also possible to impart a functional modification property to modifiers of these C-end modified proteins and the PEG parts of the assigned molecules.</p> |
