DISK BIT, CUTTER HEAD, AND CUTTER DRUM

A disk bit (1) used as an excavating blade of a rock excavator and a cutter head (5), the disk bit (1) comprising a cutter (2) having a support shaft (22) projectedly installed on one side of a steel disk or a disk (21) having a cemented carbide tip or wear resistant weld overlay and a holding table (3) rotatably supporting the support shaft (22); the cutter head (5) wherein one or more sets of disk bits (1) are disposed in a cutter head drum (6) with the direction of the support shaft (22) differentiated from the position of the blade tip of the disk (21) so that cut lines are differentiated from each other, one of the disk bits is used as an undercut disk bit for releasably cutting a rock and the other is used as a scraper disk bit for compressingly crushing the rock, whereby a cutting blade having an excellent cutting performance, manufacturable at a low cost, and usable also for a header and an undercut header with a conical bit.
