PURPOSE: A heating and cooling system of an air conditioner is provided to reduce noise due to refrigerant using a unit uniforming status of refrigerant introduced into and discharged from an expansion unit and reducing noise. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing unit(30) comprises at least one body(31) installed on a refrigerant tube connected with an expansion unit installed to an indoor unit to form a refrigerant channel allowing refrigerant to flow in and flow out from an indoor heat exchanger of the indoor unit; a screen(32) installed in an inner space of the body, filtering off foreign matters mixed with the refrigerant, and having a mesh formed thereon to uniform passing refrigerant with two phases; and a cylindrical tube(33) having a peripheral surface installed to be separated from an inner circumferential surface of the body to form a shock absorbing space part(34), and having refrigerant passing holes(33a) reducing noise as refrigerant flowing in a central part thereof flows in and out from the shock absorbing space part. The noise reducing unit is installed to a refrigerant inflow side tube and a refrigerant discharge side tube of the expansion unit, respectively.
