PURPOSE: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising aminothiophene carboxylic acid derivatives of the formula(1) to effectively inhibit the activity of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP 1B). Therefore, the composition is used as a PTP 1B inhibitor, or a prevention or treatment agent for obesity or diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for the effective inhibition of the activity of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP 1B) is characterized by comprising aminothiophene carboxylic acid derivatives of the formula(1), or their pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate or isomer. In the formula, n is 1 or 0; and R is a halogen, alkyloxy, amino, alkyl amino, carboxyl or amide substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group, or a nitrogen, sulfur or oxygen-containing hetero cyclic aromatic group.
