ARRANGEMENT FOR CONNECTING A DRAWER FRAME TO THE BOTTOM OF A DRAWER

Disclosed is an arrangement for connecting a drawer frame (12) which is formed by a metallic hollow profile to the facing lateral edge of the plate-shaped drawer bottom (10) that is assigned thereto. At least some sections of the lower end area of said drawer frame (12), which is located across from the face of the edge of the drawer bottom (10), are provided with a strip-shaped vertical contact web (26) for the lateral face of the drawer bottom. A supporting leg (28) which engages in an appropriate connecting position with the lower side of the drawer bottom is disposed at an angle from the lower end of said contact web (26). Fastening claws (32) which protrude from the supporting surface of the supporting leg (28) and are to be pressed into the material of a drawer bottom that is to be fixed are formed in an integral manner on the supporting leg, the free ends of said fastening claws (32) being pointed or sharpened. The area of each supporting leg (28), which is located between the strip-shaped contact web (26) and the free edge of the supporting leg (28), comprises at least one elongate punched-out slot (30) which is closed all around. The fastening claws (32) are attached in an integral manner to one of the edges of the punched-out slot (30) and are formed by extensions which are made from the material of the supporting leg (28) and are folded back essentially at a right angle in the direction of the drawer bottom (10).
