A gaming system (22) includes a plurality of mobile gaming units, such as robots (26, 28), having a first communication link for at least a plurality of messages and a video output, motors and wheels (89) for moving the robot (26, 28) responsive to an input, a processor receiving at least some of the messages and providing the input, and a video camera (34) providing the video output, which includes a representation of another robot (26, 28) and/or at least a portion of a gaming environment. The gaming system (22) also includes controllers (30, 32) for the robots (26, 28). The controllers (30, 32) include a second communication link in communication with at least one of the first communication links for at least the messages and the video output, a display (40) displaying the video output from the second communication link, an input device having an output, and a processor receiving the output of the input device and providing at least some of the messages. |
