A method for fitting indicator posts on roadways has a base (14) secured to the roadway and a spring back support for the post (12). The mounting comprises elastic straps or springs between the base and a support plate inside the post. The straps can be looped several times between the base and the support plate. The spring back system can be fitted as a module with the post dropped onto the module. This allows a simple exchange of posts. The support plate for the module can be removed to replace the straps, or to adjust them. |
